So, if any of you have been watching the national news lately, you may have heard of the stabbing at a school outside of Boston. That would have been my school. At 7:30 am, we were all herded into the cafeteria while police swarmed B building and rumors flew about a stabbing. Lovely way to start school, yeah? Anyway, after about an hour of announcments that really told us nothing they moved us all down into the gym where they proceeded to hold us for another two hours while still not really telling us anything. And then they called back the busses and let us go.

Anyway, the facts so far are this:
John Odgren, the killer, and James Alenson, the victim, were in a boys bathroom in B building when it happened. Apparently, they had been fighting with each other for a while, and I think both were special needs students. Anyway, I don't know many details, but Odgren stabbed Alenson multiple times and slashed at his neck, and then ran from the bathroom when two other people walked in. He was caught and taken to East House where he proceeded to say things like "It was an accident," or "I made a mistake." Alenson was rushed to the hospital, but was declared dead when he got there. Anyway, the really creepy part?

I played cards with Odgren a few days ago.

I'm just glad I'm still alive, even if he had no reason to come after me.
